The International Equine Business Alliance is a non-profit organization serving retailers, sales representatives, and manufacturers in the equestrian products supply chain.

IEBA Vision
Our IEBA vision is that the industry’s health is best served by strengthening grassroots community retailers throughout the country. The aggregate of grassroots community retailers covers vastly more territory nationwide and reaches millions more equestrian consumers than chains or big box retailers. Grassroots community retailers can benefit dramatically from improved business management practices. Their business vitality benefits product manufacturers and equestrian consumers alike, with retailers serving as the lynchpin for industry growth in the equestrian products supply chain.

IEBA Mission
Our mission is to organize a vital trade exhibition that is strong enough to fund year-round non-profit programs, and to deliver services, information, and education that enable retail store operators to reduce costs, improve their business management processes, and grow their profits. IEBA Goal and Challenge
In more detail, our IEBA goal is to promote the successful business operations of grassroots community retailers of equestrian products, apparel, gifts, accessories, jewelry, books, art, furnishings, and design. These sectors cover a wide range of retailing from tack, horse grooming and horse health, riding apparel, and stable equipment; to high end Town and Country style equestrian themed fashion, gifts, jewelry, art, accessories, furnishings, and interior design elements.

Our challenge is to reach the widest possible base of retailers, providing them with business management awareness so that they can improve their skills in advertising and marketing, inventory management, store layout, merchandising, personnel training and management, technology adoption, trends analysis, and business planning. We provide a B2B trade exhibition for qualified retailers, where they can come to find new products for inventory, get cost-saving show-special deals on inventory from existing vendors, discover new seasonal merchandising looks and ideas, meet each other to compare best practices, and learn from education sessions that we provide.

IEBA Services
IEBA supports the IEBA Expo, which funds all IEBA membership dues and programs, organizing the exhibition as a valuable marketplace for the industry. On the non-profit side, we provide programs for retailers to find reduced-cost group health insurance, shipping discounts, and credit card processing fee discounts. We also make educational information available to retailers, and we are beginning an industry research and analysis program.
